Stephanie is a lawyer and mediator specializing in family law and children's advocacy in Connecticut. She co-founded the Mother's Day Movement, a global initiative supporting health and education for women and children. Stephanie also co-directs Tablets for Kids, distributing tablets to rural schools in Sub-Saharan Africa to bridge the digital divide and enhance education. Her work underscores a dedicated commitment to improving lives through legal expertise and advocacy in education and healthcare.
Currently an Education major at Syracuse University, Sacha has volunteered in local schools in Kenya and Ghana, immersing herself in diverse cultures and educational practices. Working with grades 2 to 6, she witnessed the unique challenges and opportunities in each country. As an ambassador for the Mother’s Day Movement, she distributed essential supplies in Kenya, furthering her commitment to educational equity. Sacha also has basic conversational skills in Swahili.
In Syracuse, she worked in schools serving diverse immigrant populations, aiding their integration and learning from their cultures. Sacha plans to join the Peace Corps after graduating in 2025. These experiences have fueled her passion for education and global citizenship, shaping her journey to contribute to educational development worldwide.
